Frequently Asked Questions
What paints do you use?
I use acrylic paints. These paints are non-toxic, low odor and easy to clean.
Children can even sleep in their rooms while the mural is being painted.
What do I have to do to prepare my walls?
Walls must be clean and ready to accept acrylic (latex) paint. Dark latex painted
walls will need to be primed with a light coloured latex primer.
How long does a mural take to paint?
The time to paint a mural depends on the size and detail. The Safari mural took about
18 hours and the Pooh Bridge mural took closer to 25 hours.
How much does a mural cost?
Each mural is unique and the cost will vary depending on the detail, size and location.
Can I wash the mural?
You can wipe down the mural with warm water using a mild soap. If you need to wash down the walls,
it is best to seal the mural with a clear acrylic sealer.
How far will you travel to paint a mural?
I only paint murals in London and the surrounding area.
I want a mural but do not know what I want you to paint.
No problem. Together we can create and design the perfect mural for your room.
What size canvas do you use for your painted artwork?
Primed canvas comes in a variety of sizes.
